 This in depth training channels the Wisdom Knowledge of the Vedas, the Light from the Source that exisits as the mystery within us we must discover, into techniques and lifestyle regimens which enable Self Actualization and the ability to effectively help the others and the world, as one Unified creation. It builds upon the  knowledge of Ayurveda and Tantra with the great river of Classical Yoga.The premise of all branches of Yoga is that our destiny is Self Knowledge.

Yoga is a Journey into the Light and through Yoga and Ayurveda we create light bodies. Students who embark on this journey will learn the fundamentals of Yoga and Ayurveda to realize the health of body and mind that supports opening to the full potential of awakened consciousness and manifestation of fullest potential.

Woven into physical practice, daily sadhana, study and discussion of the great texts, Ayurvedic learning, will be advanced anatomy from both the western and Ayurvedic models, and the study of Yoga Chikitsa, or therapeutic application of yoga. Together with yoga sadhana, including  asana, mantra,, pranayama, puja, meditation and Tantric Dance, skills will be learned to expand the scope of private and group practices, bringing effective life regimens to help  colleagues, friends, families, clients and students experience their highest potential of peace and prosperity.

Expand your definition of yoga teacher into a Yoga and Ayurvedic lifestyle counselor.This will include knowledge of, New Earth nutritional therapy, therapeutic touch, aromatherpay, yoga of herbs and spices, sound therapy, tantric dance, meditation and and Yoga Therapy based on a deeper understanding of Anatomy and Physiology as well as the wholistice view that we are souls in bodies, fueled by Prana and consciousness with a mission here to fulfill, not the least of which is our own fulfillment.

* Requirements: 200 Hour RYT with Yoga Alliance is required to receive a 300/500 level registration (RYT 500) w though Yoga Aliance. See www.yogaalliance.org.

Healer and Wellness practitioners of equal or hgigher training, such as nurses, massage therapists, and counselors are welcome. Personal interview required for those that are not regular students of Neva or 200 RYT.

Non Contact Hours

 

As part of the course you will be required to do independent study to fulfill non contact hours needed for a Yoga Alliance registration. This will include:

In addition you will be required to design a 40 minute sequence, to be demonstrated or video taped. It should show variations for the various Doshas and Gunas, incorporating understanding of the Chakras, Elements, 5 Pranas and Sheaths and 3 bodies (Causal, Astral and Physical)

 

It is recommended to keep a daily home practice, that includes meditation, mantra, pranayama and asana. Journaling is also recommend. These will be reviewed by lead teachers.

 

An individual project focusing on a area of Yoga Chikitsa of personal interest.

These can include:

Physical orientation of therapeutic asana for the dosas,

Nutrition for the dosas,

Meditation, mantra and or pranayama for the gunas,

Yoga of herbs,

Yoga of sound,

Tantric dance,

Karma yoga,

Sam kalpa manifestation,

Yoga of healing through touch,

Yoga of healing through smell (aromatherapy).

 

You may select a lead teacher as your mentor in this endeavor. The project should include clinical observations based on work with volunteers and a written summary of understanding and observations.

All students must be registered by Feb 20, 2018.

Refund Policy

In the case of cancellation the initial 100.00 processing fee is not refundable. Refunds for modules will be considered on a case-by-case basis. In most cases students will be encouraged to make up a missed module at another time, and their payment held till such time. For a full withdrawal from the 200 or 300/500 hour curriculum students will be refunded all but the first of the module or weekend training they are committed to. The balance will be refunded with a 2 week notice from the start date of the fist module.
