Classes

My core intention as a yoga teacher is to bring you closer to yourself, while cultivating strength, flexibility, enjoyment though conscious movement, and body/mind integration.

Classes are eclectic and never the same but always within the container of Vinyasa-style yoga and always inspired by the group and my heart’s passion for healing and love.

“Thank you always for being such a positive influence in my life. There are so many things you have brought up in practice over the years that have stuck with me and assisted me getting through difficult periods. Once you had us in half moon, and you said, "How would you be if you were not afraid?" I don't know why it struck me so much, but that has always been one of my strongest posses now. Each time I do that pose in any class, I remind myself of that line, and it gives me such physical and inner strength.”

Meditation Sangha

A circle of light, wisdom, and healing. After sharing and discussion based on yogic wisdom and Vedic astrology, the group is guided through a visual practice of accessing Source through sound and light and the beauty of the 5 elements in nature.

“Thank you for a powerful and blissful meditation evening and the chanting. We are all in unison and healing through the medium of your knowledge.”

International Connection Yoga

This Life Flow Integrated Yoga includes Satsang, Jyotish, samkalpa, meditation, Vinyasa, Qi Gong, spontaneous movement and deep rest.  It is based on the principals taught in the Vedic sciences, Tantra, and Patanjali’s Ashtanga yoga of 8 interweaving branches, sometimes called Raja yoga.

“It occurred to me last evening during your yoga class that I could have trained with anyone, yet somehow I was led to you.  I'm sure many other instructors could have taught me about the asanas and technique, but I'm not sure they could have (or would have) taught about the more subtle and spiritual side of yoga. It really is about the journey...it's been challenging at times, yet, very sweet!  I'm honored to have such a wise teacher who has helped me lay a strong foundation for my path. Again, I thank you.”

“You have the ability to motivate students to go deeper inside; I always leave class with a deeper understanding of a pose or philosophy. You use music to your advantage which few teachers do. There are so many dimensions to yoga and you explore them in a most creative and thorough way, always watching the students' alignment and challenging them to do their best!

Yoga is a path of freedom. Freedom from illusion, ignorance, suffering, bondage.
